Reflection:
What really impressed me at The Space Studio, was the engagement level of the students. We happened to visit on a day when they were working with students from another Studio school. All of the students were busy building hover crafts. Teachers were circulating and asking questions about designs, providing feedback and letting students work. This school had a lot of technology that was readily available to students, and it was being utilized by students to complete projects. I was particularly impressed with the use of the school's 3D printer to print a part for a crane design they were working on. I was also very impressed with the displays of student work, and how students were very much self driven to research particular topics and then to find a way to present that information.
